Organize your Drawer and Save Time

Are you always rushing in the morning to catch up for the first train but you always run in late because you find it hard to prepare everyday for work? Then try to ask yourself and check if your things are properly organized. Then why not use one weekend to organize your drawer and cabinets? Sort your stuffs, keep them clean and buy wooden jewelry boxes.

You may have a lot of jewelry and accessories and choosing which one to use every morning could cost you a lot of time. So to make sure you don’t spend hours preparing in front of the mirror, here are a few drawer organizing tips.

Buy jewelry boxes and automatic watch winders. If all your jewelry and watches are placed randomly inside your drawer, it would be really time-consuming to pick the accessories for the day. Place them properly in designated boxes considering the frequency of use, the suitable occasion, style and color or any other category you would like to follow.

Get the boxes and winders that can accommodate the number of accessories you have. You can buy automatic watch winders that can hold up to a dozen of watches and buying one will allow you to save space than buying three winders that can hold four watches on each. Put the boxes properly inside your drawer, placing your most frequent choices or everyday accessories in the most reachable area. If you think it can help, label the boxes for easy recall or maybe buy boxes of different colors.

What is a Ventless Gas Fireplace?

July 15th, 2009 by admin

The innovations brought about by the modern age have affected not only the complex worlds of informational technologies, medicine and electronics; it has also sprung forth improvements and changes in simple household items and equipment; and one such as example is the fireplace. The incarnation of the fireplace has gone from the customary heating hearths recessed in the wall into ventless gas fireplaces.

What is a ventless gas fireplace? The difference between the conventionally designed fireplace and the ventless fireplace is all about the fuel. Everyone knows the traditional fireplaces were wood burning fireplaces that usually use fuels like wood, coal or coke. The ventless gas fireplace is different because it uses natural gas or propane as the fuel. Contrary to the usual practice of having to refill and replenish dwindling wood or coal fuel into the hearths, with a ventless gas fireplace, the fuel does not actually run out. This happens because the fuel is supplied to the fireplace through a direct gas line that brings in the gas for combustion.

Ventless fireplaces are perfect for homes with minimal space. The fireplace should be located at the center of the home to make sure heating is achieved almost evenly all throughout the house. And if the central area of your home can only accommodate a few square meters of space, a ventless fireplace is the best solution. Another advantage of the ventless gas fireplace is that it is easier to ‘clean up’ in the rare case that a clean up proves to really be a necessity.

Take a moment to go over these simple yet worthwhile tips to make your little piece of heaven even more heavenly:

Show your true colors. Jazz up your place with colorful and welcoming items that show your character and taste. Do not be afraid to display that long standing collection of the well-kept toys you had ever since you were a kid. Be proud of your kid’s artwork, you need not frame these cute little drawings, just make them visible. These things would guests enthused when they see your place.

Own the place! Proudly put up family photos, or other pictures of you and your housemates. Add to the usual magazines and newspapers in your den copies of your favorite pocketbooks or perhaps a collection of your favorite poetry. Your house is not the dentists’ office… so loosen up!

Liven up the place by placing fresh flowers all over the place. Some may even go as far as setting little jars of potpourri or scented candles to freshen up the place. Just don’t forget to clean up! Put a fresh batch of water and flowers in the flower vase at least once a week. Be quick about cleaning up the ashes or wax from your scented candles or incense.

Put in a little atmosphere. If you are not watching anything on the tube or you aren’t too busy concentrating on some task, or if you’ll be entertaining some visitors, keep your favorite music playing softly in the background.
